PARADISE FOUND IN ALABAMA
Here’s news for RV campers and for real estate investors. The new Paradise Found RV Resort on the Fowl River at Mobile (Alabama) Bay is offering 246 deeded lots starting at $79,000. The luxury resort is accepting reservations starting November 1 for a posh resort with clubhouse, pickleball courts, fitness center, golf simulator, laundry, dog park and a kayak launch. YOGI MAKEOVER
Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Warrens, Wisconsin, has had an extreme makeover just in time for summer vacations. The Great Escapes RV Resorts member began upgrading in 2021 and never stopped. Now there are two new resort-style swimming pools and tons of new amenities. Make reservations ASAP for the World’s Largest Cranberry Festival to be held September 27-29. Info: jellystonewarrens.com

NEW PATIO SITES AND PAW PENS
New this year at the Coloma/St. Joseph KOA Holiday in Riverside, Michigan, are 22 new patio RV sites that will open on Memorial Day weekend. Each has a deluxe picnic table, 30/50-amp power, Adirondack chairs and a custom fire pit. Three have Paw Pens and two are pull-thru. The park’s amenities include a swimming pool that will be open until September 2. Reservations (269) 849-3333.

LATE FLASH FROM OREGON!

IMPROVEMENTS IN LOUISIANA
Improvements coming to the RV park at the Grand Encore Recreation Area in Natchitoches, Louisiana, include a new, 2.5-mile asphalt scenic trail. Located in a pecan orchard, the Area has boat launches, restrooms, boat slips, a floating dock, 59 RV sites with full hookups, playgrounds and an activity center. Now through Labor Day, ask about the 20% Grand Opening special.

CAMPGROUND WITH FLY FISHING OUTFITTER
New Braunfels, Texas, is the home of the Rio Guadalupe Resort along the Guadalupe River, where a year-long upgrade has added six new premium RV sites for monthly guests. The pool now has a large-screen TV and comfortable seating area. Improvements were also made in the dog park, check-in area, cabins and the access road. Now part of the 61-site resort is Rio Anglers, a full-service fly fishing outfitter. Guests can have an all-inclusive package that includes nightly stays in an RV site or cabin, meals, drinks, guided fishing trips and wader rentals. Info: rioguadaluperesort.com or (830) 206-5961.

WILDLIFE AREA CAMPGROUND ON WISHLIST
Near Port O’Connor, Texas, there is talk of adding RV camping, boating and more to the vast former ranchland now known as the Powderhorn Wildlife Management Area. On the wish list for the future Powderhorn State Park are RV and camp sites, play areas for children, reopening of the original ranch house, boat launches, fishing areas, paved and unpaved trails, and much more. For now, the Area is open only at specific times for hunters and birding tours. (361) 205-1510.

GRAND OPENING SPECIAL
In Stafford, Texas, the Jetstream RV Resort had its Grand Opening earlier this month. Amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, outdoor kitchen with grill, firepit with pergola, fishing pond, clubhouse, and more. All RV sites have full hook-ups. Through Labor Day, ask about the 20% grand opening special. The code word is JETOUT.

CHUCK’S OPENS IN TEXAS
New in Mabank, Texas, is Chuck’s RV Resort with 127 paved RV sites, full hookups, a choice of pull-thru or back-in sites, pickleball, a putting green, general store, pet park, laundry and activities. SECOND SWIMMING POOL
Expansions and improvements continue at the Great Escapes RV Resorts Bryan-College Station in Bryan, Texas. A second resort-style swimming pool recently opened at the 80-acre resort. Also added lately are new bathhouses and a laundry. The resort has premium pull-through RV sites, a lake with a Wibit floating obstacle course, sports courts and an events center. Still to come are a food truck court and a pavilion for live entertainment. Learn more here.

SEASONAL B.C. CAMPGROUND REOPENS
The new operator of the Todd’s Lakeside Seasonal Campground in Peachland, British Columbia, calls its reopening a re-launch. The campground has been closed since 2022. Seasonal campers will be welcomed for full-time stays May through October. Short-term visitors will be accommodated when space allows. The site on Lake Okanagan has been approved for a 49-unit luxury condo development. Future plans for the campground will be discussed at the end of this season.
