MENU Photo Contest, September 7, 2022

Select your favorite photo

These photos and their captions were submitted by readers. Every Wednesday and Saturday we post a photo from five different readers. The link where to view photos and vote is in every Saturday newsletter and every Wednesday RV Daily Tips Newsletter. Sign up here to receive a notification of each newsletter issue if you haven’t done so already.

Now, it’s your turn to choose the one photo out of the five below you like the best. You can only vote once per day (once per 24 hours). That means you can come back tomorrow at the same time or later (if the contest is still open) and vote again. The photo that receives the most votes by midnight tomorrow night, September 8, earns the reader who took it a $50 Amazon gift card.

Spread the word

Make sure you check back every Saturday and Wednesday so you can tell your friends and family to vote! Email or text them the link to this page, and make sure to share it on social media too. If your photo gets the most votes, you win!

Voting deadline: Midnight (Pacific time), September 8.

Photo 20-1

From reader Evan Nudd: “Looks like fire at the base of the mountain. I thought that the car driving through my night photo messed up until I looked at it on the computer screen.”

Photo 20-2

From reader Larry Renna: “While camping in South Dakota, Mount Rushmore surprised me with its beauty, grandeur and significance of how they chose the four presidents.”

Photo 20-3

From reader Tom Gillan: “Pine Grove Ranch, my personal campground. We fell in love with camping so much. Now we are head over heels, or tree over roots, in love with the trees and nature.”

Photo 20-4

From reader Barbara Froelich: “Glacier National Park.”

Photos 20-5

From reader Gregory Willhite: “This is an image I took a few years ago. There are several named objects in it, most notably being NGC 2024 and B33. NGC 2024, the Flame Nebula, is on the lower left in the image below the bright star Alnitak, which is the easternmost star of Orion’s Belt. B33, The Horsehead Nebula, is the centered object of this image. Image is comprised of RGB data along with Ha (H-alpha) in the red channel. Total of about 3 hours’ worth of data.”
