The 2025 Fleetwood Insight 25M is a compact Class C motorhome built on the popular Mercedes-Benz chassis with a turbo diesel engine.
At less than 26 feet, it fits into most public campgrounds and is short enough to pull off the road when driving for a quick stroll down a small town Main Street. The rig still provides the comfort and features commonly found in larger motorhomes.
Open the entry door and the space feels bigger than the footprint suggests. A single slide on the driver’s side pushes out to create a roomy lounge and kitchen area. You gain real walking space and better furniture placement, so it doesn’t feel tight or cramped.
The kitchen is about the right size considering the size of the RV. It features an induction cooktop, not traditional burners, which will please some RVers but disappoint others. The refrigerator is large enough to hold essentials without requiring frequent stops to restock.
Three different floor plans
The Insight 25M comes in three different floor plans. The video below shows the one with a sofa that converts into a Murphy bed, providing daytime seating and nighttime comfort within the same footprint. The use of this space is very smart and not common in other small motorhomes on the Mercedes chassis.
The rear bathroom is more than adequate with a roomy shower. The bathroom also includes a modest-sized closet for hanging clothes.
Like other RVs on the Mercedes chassis, the RV is spacious enough for long trips for single RVers or couples who don’t need to travel with “all their stuff.” If downsizing is on your mind, this model deserves a spot on your shortlist.

Every manufacturer building Class C RVs on a M-B Sprinter chassis has a Murphy bed-rear bath floorplan exactly like this Fleetwood. The floorplan is neither unique or original to Fleetwood and can be found on Winnebago, Tiffin, Dynamax, Renegade, and several Thor and Forest River Sprinter Class Cs. We looked at all of those models before buying our Sprinter Class C.
Reviews without mentioning capacities or Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity are not very useful.
