Best Ever Banana Pudding
by Krys Furniss from Chillicothe, OH
This is definitely not your more traditional Southern banana pudding (with meringue) but it’s just as good. It has all the flavors – banana, creamy custard, and vanilla wafers. But, in this version cream cheese is whipped into the pudding and whipped cream. It changes the filling texture slightly and adds a hint of tang that offsets all the sweetness. Thick, creamy, and full of banana flavor, this banana pudding is very easy to make and quite delicious. Here’s the recipe.
Banana Bread Breakfast Cookies
by Shelley Madison from Nashville, TN
Treat the family to cookies for breakfast with these banana bread breakfast cookies. Slightly sweet, they taste exactly like banana bread with pops of sweet raisins throughout. Oats help to make the cookie heartier and add a sturdy texture. A great use for ripe bananas, and they’d freeze wonderfully. If someone is allergic to eggs, this is an egg-free recipe. Banana Split Pie
by Audrey Musick from Marion, VA
This rich and creamy no-bake pie mimics the flavors of a classic banana split. The pudding filling is full of crushed pineapple and laid on top of sliced bananas in a graham cracker crust. Covered in whipped topping, the dessert is sprinkled with nuts and chocolate sauce. Adding a cherry on top makes this taste like a sundae in pie form. A wonderful no-bake dessert for summer.
