Cord cover protects sensitive cables and eliminates trip hazards

By Nanci Dixon
I needed a way to cover up our expensive, sensitive Starlink cable so it wouldn’t get crushed. Not to mention it’s a trip hazard. Our Starlink had to be situated in such a way to get satellite service that the cable was right in our walk path between the table and RV door. Covering it with a patio rug made me cringe as everyone stepped on it. I don’t want to have to buy another one!

I knew from seeing electrical cords under a raised protector at photo shoots and concerts that there had to be something to help. A three-hour Amazon search followed. I compared almost all the reviews until I found just the perfect three-channel cable and cord cover.

It is heavy-weight PVC with three channels to put different wires through, is 10 ft. long, and is heavy enough to withstand people walking on it. Also, it cuts easily with scissors to open the channels or cut the length.

It works! It has saved the cable from damage and has bright yellow stripes that prevent people from tripping on it. When no longer needed, it rolls right back up in the box it came in for storage. I can see it working for any number of cords in the future, particularly extension cords, indoors or out.

After all those hours of research, it was worth it! Here’s the link on Amazon.
