Funky, one-of-a-kind RV could be yours

UPDATE on eBay Thursday: “This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing.” But the description is still there as of Friday night, and maybe he’ll list it again, if you’re interested.

You’ll turn a lot of heads when you pull into the RV park (provided they let you in!) with this beauty — a one-of-a-kind 1959 Plymouth Fury converted into a camper. Now, we ask you, how many 1959 Plymouth Furys do you know of that have a queen size bed, two burner stove — and even the proverbial kitchen sink?

And even better, this fabulous home-built RV is in fairly decent shape: The owner reports it’s “a little rusty, but very trusty,” with no dents or leaks, “and the glass is perfect.”

The recreational vehicle has been for sale this past week on eBay. The last we checked it was still available, but it could have been snapped up by now by a lucky buyer.

The starting bid was $5,000, with a “Buy It Now” price of $6,500.

You can learn more about the vehicle on eBay or call 507-864-4364.

Thanks to RV Travel reader Bruce Badger for telling us about this.
