Grilling gifts perfect for RVers—like yourself!

Whether you’re an RVer or buying for one, practical and portable grilling tools can make outdoor cooking more convenient and fun.

Here are three great grilling products that combine portability, versatility, and functionality, perfect for life on the road.

BBQ grill blanket bag

A grill blanket is more than just a cover—it’s a high-performance insulating layer designed to keep food hot while it smokes or “rests.”

A different take on the grill blanket is this insulated grilling bag. No matter whether you’re cooking a brisket or some pork chops, this blanket bag will keep food hot while all of the yummy juices are reabsorbed into the meat.

Grill blankets retain heat during colder weather, too. They’re especially helpful for RVers who enjoy grilling year-round in different climates. Durable, lightweight, and easy to clean, the grill master in your life will love this gift.

Collapsible grill caddy and cutting board

Combining a caddy with a cutting board is a game-changer for outdoor cooking. This compact dual-use gift saves space and is so versatile.

Pop it up and the resulting caddy is perfect for carrying sauces, seasonings, and utensils from your RV to the picnic table. Collapse it, and the cutting board provides a stable surface for prep work. Lightweight and durable, this combo is a great space-saving solution for RV kitchens or grill tables, where workspace is often limited.

Grill baskets

Grill baskets are essential for preparing smaller foods like diced vegetables, seafood, or delicate cuts of meat that might otherwise fall through the grill grates. (Don’t you hate it when that happens?)

Some baskets like these take up minimal storage space because they nest together. This makes them a fantastic choice for RVers. Some grill baskets feature non-stick coatings and adjustable handles for easier use and cleaning.

Why these gifts work well for RVers

When purchasing gifts for the RVers in my life, I keep in mind three top priorities. The products mentioned previously meet all three of my criteria. They are:

  • Portable: Each product is lightweight, compact, or collapsible, saving valuable space in your RV.
  • Versatile: They cater to various grilling needs, from year-round temperature management to food prep and cooking.
  • Convenient: Features like easy cleaning and being space-saving make them ideal for an on-the-go lifestyle.

We like grilled veggies with our steak or chicken. Got the cylindrical baskets after seeing them here. Easy to roll them to get all the veggies toasted. They work good on the charcoal grill, but you have to remove the wood handle or it will catch on fire.
And while we are talking grilling, did you know that Tater Tots do great on a grill? I just spread them around the perimeter. No oven needed.
