With 50 states and therefore 50 state legislatures, gun laws throughout the USA sometimes vary monthly as each state adopts new and revised laws depending on when they are enacted per their state constitution. An annual document is hardly sufficient. I am not knocking this document, it is a great document with lots of additional info besides just the state laws. I use phone apps that are updated regularly.

It appears that there is a trend of apps going to subscription fees, either monthly and/or yearly. That being the case = no purchase. Otherwise most of us would be subscription poor. Its only option for those apps to offer a stand alone purchase, otherwise take a hike.
Just received … what I thought was the 2020 Traveler’s Guide to the Firearms
Laws of the Fifty States. Received a 2008 edition. 12 years outdated. I am not impressed and will be contacting my credit card company as this is not what I ordered.

What’s the latest on Good Sam continuing to be viable? I have a policy for my truck in case of problems, Have the travel assist in case we (86 & 72) have medical problems and term life insurance.
We’ve stopped traveling and for the past 3 years are Volunteer Campground Hosts for the NPS on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We stay 4/5 months (Probably not this year, bummer)

Regarding the Guide to Firearms Laws book. Laws are constantly changing and it is difficult for a book to always be up to date. A better alternative or at least a complement is the phone app CCW. Covers all pertinent laws and is updated very frequently.
