Isn’t it fun when you get to select more than one answer in our polls?! That’s what you get to do here today. Pick TWO professional sports that you enjoy watching the most on TV.
Are your two favorites auto racing and golf? Hockey and tennis? Basketball and football? Something entirely different? If you answer “other,” please leave a comment and tell us what that is.
And remember that this poll is about sports… not politics! If your comments turn political they will be deleted (and our staff will not be happy that we have to spend our time doing this!). Thank you for following basic instructions! Wink.

None
Same here
Where is pickleball!
Or frisbee golf? Or poker? Or bowling? Or the national napping championship?
This is also tongue-in-cheek. I don’t watch sports.
None
None.
I hate when my Local News and Weather are preempted by some stupid sports program. Networks should be required to slot the local programing they disrupted by dropping some network crap like Wheel of Fortune or other programs.
I agree with Ed. I clicked other because there wasn’t a choice for NONE.
You forgot to add none to the poll.
Golf. There you really are earning your money. I stopped years ago watching baseball and football. It’s got to the point of just plain disgusting.
You forgot to include “none”, many people just don’t care to spend endless hours watching sports on tv.
None
I had shows “Other” because I have no interest in watching sports on TV.
I chose other as there wasn’t a box to check for “do not watch”.
I’ll watch the local teams IF they win at least 66% of their games. (The pain from one loss negates the entertainment value from two wins.)
We also enjoy golf, since they’ve got it down right. No waiting in between shots.
The polling module is tied to one or more of the many supposed online trackers my browser blocks. I can allow the proper module access, but won’t simply turn off my online tracking blocking tool. So Chuck, et al., which external tool is used for the polling module?
Jim, Not quite sure what you’re asking here. If you’re asking about the external poll platform we use, it’s Opinion Stage and yes, they may not show up with certain ad blockers. If you need any help, please shoot me an email at editor@rvtravel.com and I can help you over there so our conversation doesn’t get lost here. Thanks! –Emily, RVtravel.com
How about another choice, A I don’t watch sports choice.
None would be my choice.
Other is Dog Shows along with baseball.
None would be my answer.NASCAR is a joke.I enjoy college football.
Pocket billiards, about the only sport nearly anyone can play ( not well however 😉 )
Unlimited Hydroplane racing is my go to sport. Otherwise my choice is None.
I ONLY watch golf, no other pro sports because they are overpaid and under performers!!!
We don’t watch professional sports. We tend to watch educational/history stuff like Smithsonian channel has.
Years ago I used to infrequently watch golf & football. Now my time is better spent getting to my list of RV maintenance projects or getting my dogs out for a long walk in the country!!! 🙂
Cycling.
Me too
Voted OTHER as Gymnastics wasn’t an option.
Football and Lacrosse. Our son was an avid lacrosse player in high school and lacrosse. Lacrosse paid for his college education both undergraduate and graduate degrees. We watched hundreds of lacrosse games over the years and got hooked. The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) broadcasts games on television and I enjoy watching them.
I am a devout antenna tv person and found baseball virtually impossible to watch without buying something to watch it on. So I have had to move away from baseball to lacrosse. During the PPL season, they broadcast quite a few games on television. If you are a football fan, this is the golden age to watch games on antenna tv. Games all day Saturday and Sunday.
I chose other because watching sports is a total waste of my time
I’ve been a MLB fan since 1967, specifically the Chicago Cubs. But MLB abandoned me, kicked me to the curb a few years back when they went political. Now I don’t spend one minute following baseball, haven’t seen one batter much less an inning or game on tv, couldn’t tell you the starting lineup for the Cubs.
It was hard for me during the first year after MLB pulled the All Star game from Atlanta because of their new, sensible, voting law. It was gratifying for me when the Braves made it to the series and won the whole thing. I, and many others, viewed that win as a giant extended middle finger to MLB. But no more. I couldn’t care less.
I don’t watch professional sports as the players are just overpaid jocks who mostly couldn’t survive out of their sport. They have absolutely no loyalty and only in it for the money….whoever pays me more will receive my talent.
Unfortunately, college sports (especially football and basketball) are getting to be the same way. Not worth my time.
Not really much of a sports fan anymore other than NASCAR. I will watch 1 football game per year on TV but I will attend 1 or 2 NASCAR races per year and put a race on in the background while doing projects.
Congrats to Ryan Blaney, the nicest young man in racing just won the championship yesterday. Sometimes the good guys do finish first.
Agreed! Congrats Ryan. !!
ditto
I voted for golf even though I do not golf, I like to watch it once in a while. Also, I voted other for the fact that I like to watch bowling too.
Being retired I have no time to waste in front of a Tv. I watch golf and NASCAR on Sat. while waiting for the news to come on – about :30 min or so. It’s either of those two or the 3 Stooges or football! What a time waster and political too!
Hi, D and J. I haven’t had a TV for about 20 years and don’t miss it one bit. I also don’t watch anything online. Too much more important stuff to do with my time and my life. Have a great day. 😀 –Diane
Golf, because the announcers whisper and I can catch my nap.
I record then fast forward through the Nascar races so as not to have to listen to the announcers…
As with most all of the other sports that I watch, the announcers have gotten overly obnoxious in the last few years and there are way too many over hyped commercials….IMHO
I use to enjoy watching the LA Dodgers and tennis however I do not watch the Dodgers or any baseball due to the support the Dodgers gave to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and the whole MLB going woke.
Wife is big baseball and football fan. I watch if TV is on during supper with ball game on. Wife preferers me not in the room because I criticize all the stupid rules.
I am philosophically opposed to any form of professional sports. They only serve to distract people from more important matters in society today.
That being said, I have indeed been briefly entertained a couple of times when thumbing through channels. Once when during a half time performance for some game, I witnessed on live TV an obviously intentional wardrobe malfunction. The second time was when a sports reporter was interviewing a race car driver and coined the term “let’s go Brandon”.
I guess there is entertainment value in pro sports after all.
Auto Racing and College football.
We used to enjoy basketball and football, but, with the politicization of these sports, we quit several years ago, and have found we don’t miss them.
My wife and I have no interest in watching any sports.
Baseball and track and field (i.e., other). At the highest levels of track and field it is a professional sport. Athletes have contracts with shoe and clothing companies, earn bonuses for outstanding marks and records, and earn additional bonuses based on their world ranking.
The other two professional sports — football and basketball — are so different from the versions that I followed 50 years ago that I cannot watch them as they are currently played.
None
Ditto!!
My answer is no sports
I don’t much care to watch on TV anymore, but enjoy going to the games. Hockey is my favorite. I’m from Detroit. That means you MUST like hockey
