Grocery delivery was, and still is, a booming business during the pandemic. Who doesn’t want to save a trip to the grocery store, especially with such high gas prices now? But did you know you can also get groceries delivered straight to your RV? It doesn’t have to be just to a sticks-n-bricks home!
You can pretty much get everything delivered these days—pet food, Costco deliveries, heck, even alcohol!
Have you ever had groceries delivered right to your RV’s door? If so, will you tell us and other RVers about your experiences with it in the comments below the poll? Was it easy? Is it worth it? Did they pick out perfectly ripe bananas for you?
Suggestion: Since the new issue with the page starting over if you go away, like to the poll, I’ve been devising new ways to navigate the page. I now skip the poll and go all the way to the bottom. Then return to the poll, take it, and then close the newsletter, since I’ve seen everything below it.
So, my suggestion is to move the poll, & anything else with the same issue, together at the bottom of the newsletter.

There are multiple ways to open a link in a new tab (or even a new window, but I prefer a new tab). The ways will differ depending on keyboard (or lack of one) and your pointing device. But one of the most common methods is to hold down a Control key while clicking/tapping on a link. – – that is exactly how I got to this page. When done, just close the tab (not the browser). The original tab is still sitting exactly where you left it.

I have never ordered groceries delivered ever and probably never will
I have seen those ‘store shoppers’ filling orders. They just grab the items and put (throw) them in the carts. Often times filling multiple orders at the same time.
Sorry, but we want to see what we are buying. Especially things like meat, fresh vegetables and dairy products. Some of those things may sit for hours unrefrigerated in a room waiting for delivery. I can just imagine the condition of the eggs.
It also amazes me the number of cars waiting in the pickup lanes.
We have not only had deliveries to boondocking campsites, but people around us have used our camper as the “address” to have things delivered to them because we stood out. We were the only Airstream and were flying the only Canadian flag in the field.
Our stationary winter location is too far from almost all stores offering delivery (unless UPS, FedEx, USPS). During covid’s peak, we did order online and did curbside pickup.
Yes, sometimes the results were, shall we say, ‘interesting’. But for the most part it worked.
I agree, sometimes the results are very interesting.
Only once when we were at Camp, Helen, working in Panama City Beach. It is the only place that I was ever able to get delivery. Most of the time we work at state parks that are a distance from any grocery store that offers delivery my daughter lives in Colorado Springs uses delivery regularly, she’s had several problems and I don’t know that I would use it knowing the issues she has had.
Umm, no. Pizza, sure.
Tried to order a pizza to our site once. If we’d been on a boat out on the lake it would have been no problem. Finally had to say forget it, we’ll come pick it up! State park campground, in town, with the lake.
Didn’t they ask this question before? Maybe that was door dash or uber eats. I’m really particular when grocery buying and wouldn’t trust someone else to pick out produce or most meat for me.
I would be curious to how many people that read the polls are full timers? No stick and brick home, no relatives that they can park there home on wheels at. Live permanently in their RV.
No, we have never done that. However, visiting RVers staying at our RV barn did order groceries. It worked, but not very well.
Voted no. But that’s not to say we wouldn’t ever do it.
