You might be reading a book right now, but that’s not what we’re asking about here. We want to know when you last finished reading a book. Was it this week? Last week? Last month? Last year?
We’re big readers here at RVtravel.com (really, our whole staff!), so we always enjoy talking about books and reading. If you just finished a book that you like and would recommend, please tell us about it in the comments. We’ll be excited to look through them. Thanks!

In the last couple of weeks – so long because three of my magazines have arrived: National Geographic, The Atlantic, and Sierra….
I generally read 3-4 books per week – especially when it is very hot and muggy or very cold outside.
I finish a book every 3-4 days
Tomorrow, I’ll finish book 6 of the 12 book John Wells spy series by Alex Berenson.
Stay safe and turn the page, Joe
Do Audible books count? I listen to books while doing manual work or just relaxing in the back yard with first morning coffee!
Our daughter owns a used bookstore in Searcy, AR called Books by the Pound. I get all the books that I want! It is an incredible store and fun to see the faces of people coming in for the first time. They are amazed and so excited. Check it out on FB and if you are in the area.
I LOVE to read and like paper over digital books. I bring a duffle bag full in the RV despite the weight. Forget the canned goods- give me books!
I’ts been quite a while, but I’m right in the middle of a book that I will finish by the end of the week.
We listen to books on CD while on the road. Beats trying to find a radio station.
The last book that I finished was by one of my grad school friends, “The Economics of the Super Bowl (https://a.co/d/eSMf4tp).” I got it for Christmas 2022 and finished it a couple of days later. Currently I am reading another book by a different friend from graduate school, “Expert Failure (https://a.co/d/gBxJBnb).” I have had it longer than the one about the Super Bowl, and it is more interesting, but I usually only read it when we travel. Thank you for the survey and safe travels! 🙂
I read a lot while we’re out in the TT. Most of my books are on Kindle these days – space saving at home and in the 17′ TT, plus so much easier on my cranky hands. I can also adjust the font and light as necessary.
I finished a book on the Kindle app on my phone at the gym yesterday, I find the machines mind-numbing without a book, or a friend to talk with.
My quilting books are in hard copy, most cookbooks are (we take notes), and some other non-fiction books.
I read daily, usually on my phone but I like hardback books also. Currently I am reading a series by Nick Russell (John Lee Quarrels series) that was recommended by Tony & Peggy Barthel on one of their podcasts.
Does the Bible count? I read it from cover to cover every year but a different translation each time. I do read a lot of articles and such but usually only read a book once or twice a year. I’m not a reader of novels and prefer educational and historical books.
Roy, The Bible is the ONLY one that counts.
I enjoy reading, only problem is I fall asleep minutes after starting
Finished a book last Sunday, starting a new book later today. Read on my tablet electronically from one or another county libraries.
I was once a voracious reader. As a kid I’d be reading 2-books simultaneously. In 54-years of marriage we have a personal library of well over 100-books. These days, not so much.
I average 3-5 books per week. It’s my favorite way to spend my time.
I finished my last book yesterday. I read three to seven books a week, sometimes two or three at a time. I would be bankrupt without Kindle Unlimited and could not read without my Kindle while in the RV as my bookshelves are too heavy for our UltraLite lifestyle.
My wife reads a couple of books a week. I doubt that I have ever FINISHED reading a book, even in college.
