How often do you eat at a fast-food restaurant?

We know that many people prefer to support and eat at local mom-and-pop restaurants more than they like to eat at a chain or fast-food restaurant, but sometimes it seems that’s the only option (especially on the Interstate). If you’re in a hurry, fast food sure makes things easy.

Please tell us in the poll below how often you eat at a fast-food restaurant. We’re talking about places like McDonald’s, Burger King, Subway, Taco Bell, etc. Even if it’s a local fast-food chain, it still counts.

And speaking of local fast-food chains… Check out Cheri’s recent post about the best regional fast-food restaurants. These sound good!

Please leave a comment, too, if you’d like. We get excited when we receive comments about food. It is a shared love, isn’t it?

Maybe once a month. Just not my thing. But do take away at pizza joints and some restaurants.

We have discovered it’s really not any cheaper and often not faster than a regular restaurant.

We meet our son and daughter n law at Hardee’s, for breakfast on Wednesday, as they both work close and can go to work when finshed.

Maybe once a year, more often for ice cream or coffee at McDonalds!

I was going to say never since it’s been at least 20 years since we’ve eaten fast food. That was up until last week when circumstances forced us to have dinner at Bunz in San Antonio. I have to admit it was very good but I still feel a little guilty about doing that to my body.

Eat junk food…pay the price sooner or later in your health.

Our lives have been quite busy this summer for multiple reasons (for the record, we do most RVing in the colder half of the year as we have a house in a glorious summer location). Subway has been our lunchtime go to.

After a day of errands, appointments, etc., nobody wants to cook. Usually it’s chicken, Chinese, Subway, or Sonic(For a Blast). Found a local Mom/Pop that’s really good, sit down restaurant, not fast but quick.

Eat AT…rarely. But we do get carry-out from an independent burger/hot dog place every now and then.

Almost Never. I just don’t like what most have to offer.

Since we have to drive to a city to get to a fast food place, it really depends on when we make the trek (70-120 miles). Usually every 3-6 weeks).

I don’t consider Subway as a fast food place. Each sandwich is made to order and they use fresh vegetables and meat sliced daily and fresh baked breads. Plus you can pick and choose what you want on the sandwiches.
We also like Dairy Queen grill and chill. The sandwiches and meals are also freshly cooked at the time of order.
Neither one of these reheat, microwave or mass cook their food and have it sitting in heating bins, like McDonalds, Burger King or most of the other Fast Food places.
