A tow vehicle that seats 18 – You haven’t seen this before!

It’s a school bus … it’s a fifth wheel … it’s a bus-wheel! Ever seen anything like this before? We found this on the CampingRoadTrip.com Facebook page, but we’d love to know who owns this. Now the real question … Can the fifth wheel sleep all 18 bus passengers?

Don’t forget to get a CDL for 16+ passengers.

Only needed if for commercial use, not for private use.

I am a school bus driver and no, unless you are going to use this for towing children, hauling children or their parents around then no you do not need a CDL. U Haul has a mega tower and then you do need one. I plan to keep my CDL for life. I can drive and workamp.

I too was a school bus driver and when I retired 5 years ago and moved from AL to TN I gave up my CDL w/hazmat, and passenger endorsement to quit driving permanently.

Yes I have! My friend built one of these probably 10-12 years ago. Painted it in the Dale Earnhart style.

I’m sure the 5er sleeps 16 comfortably.
