  • Burger King. Royal Perks members can enjoy a buy one/get one Whopper on April 8. All you need to do is text ECLIPSE to 251251 on your mobile phone and claim your BOGO deal from the BK app or BK.com. Not a member? You have time to sign up through the app or online here.
  • Pizza Hut. Enjoy a large pizza for just $12 on April 8. The offer is good for dine-in, carry-out, or delivery!

  • Krispy Kreme. From April 5-8, you can scarf down dozens of Krispy Kreme’s special Total Solar Eclipse donuts. This limited edition donut consists of a chocolate-dipped glazed donut topped with silver sprinkles and Oreo icing. Topped with a full Oreo cookie, this confection pictures the total eclipse in all of its yummy glory!
  • SunChips. The company will roll out its limited-edition Solar Eclipse Chips just in time for the big day. You can score a bag of the pineapple habanero and black bean spicy gouda chips, but you’ll have to act fast. That’s because the chips can only be ordered online during the eclipse. That’s right, you must place your order during the 4 minutes 27 seconds of the eclipse beginning at 1:33 p.m. CT. Set your timers now!
  • Sonic Drive-In. A new black slush float flavored like cotton candy and dragon fruit welcomes customers just in time for the eclipse. While supplies last, the float comes with a complementary pair of solar eclipse glasses.
  • Raising Cane’s. This popular chain is giving away free Texas toast in locations along the total eclipse pathway. Log on now to enter a contest to win free Cane’s for the next 20 years (until the next eclipse)! The winner will be announced on April 8.

Thank you, Gail! 🙂 Amazing to see all the chains looking to boost sales by tying themselves to the solar eclipse. 😉 I’m sure that everyone will be wildly successful and overrun with customers inside the stores and cars lined up for miles to go through the drive-throughs (if they have them, and they better build them if they don’t already have them). But I dislike being in crowds, so I’ll be have to stay home until the crowds abate. 😉 Meanwhile, safe and sunny travels! 🙂
