We’re not looking for “how-to” or travel articles. The writing is almost as important as the subject matter. Make readers think!

If we love your writing, we’ll invite you to contribute again, perhaps on a regular basis with payment in money, not a gift certificate.
Tips: Write tight with no wasted words. Read your essay out loud when you’re finished. If it sounds stiff or academic, keep working on it. If it sounds conversational, as if you were speaking it to a friend, that’s good.
