We bought a version of this table years ago. It was no where near the $60 this one goes for. In fact, it was SO inexpensive we bought two (figuring this cheapo Chinese made table would fail). Here we are, years later, and it still works fine.
You DO have to be careful when folding it up because you can easily get your fingers pinched as you collapse the legs. Also, on our tables you can adjust the height of the table with the extensions on the bottom of the legs. The table top is unpainted aluminum. Great for putting our BBQ on, away from the trailer.
You are right about smashing your fingers. But you didn’t mention about how the velcro tabs that hold the top to the legs don’t stay attached to the legs and it comes pre dented and is a oain to get back in the bag other than that it does work my wife likes it and won’t let me dmp it
