Join Clint from Princess Craft RV in the video below for a tour of the 2024 Clipper 128LS pop-up camper by Coachmen RV. Unlike many pop-up campers, this one has a shower and toilet on board but is still lightweight and easy to tow.
The interior shower and cassette toilet are an option for Coachmen’s Clipper pop-up campers, but the one in the video does show these great features. Located right next to the door, a flip-up countertop hides the toilet and shower combo. A track in the ceiling allows a shower curtain to surround the area for both privacy and water containment. Watch the video for a demonstration of how easy it is to dump the cassette toilet. This rig also has an outdoor shower.
I like that you can access the exterior storage from inside the trailer as well.
Like all pop-up trailers of this style, there are two large sleeping areas, each housing a queen-sized bed, more or less (more on that below).
The galley consists of a single sink, a small 12-volt refrigerator, and a 2-burner Suburban propane stove. Watch the video to see how the entire galley area folds down out of the way when you want to lower the roof and get ready to travel.
The large U-shaped dinette provides lots of comfortable seating for dining or lounging. The dining table can be used inside or out, giving it more versatility. If you have a big family and need to sleep more people, this entire area converts into another large sleeping space.
Outside, the Clipper has an easy lift top outfitted with a rail to add an optional awning. A propane power griddle attaches to the side of the trailer or can be lifted off for use elsewhere. There is some L-shaped exterior storage in the back and a small pass-through storage area in the front. They even built in a pet leash tie-off and a bottle opener!

What’s not to like?
It would be nice if the beds were standard queen-sized. As it is, one is slightly larger than a queen, the other slightly smaller. That is a massive pain-in-the-you-know-where, not to mention the extra expense when it comes to buying sheets.
The way the galley folds down for travel is innovative; however, it seems like it would render the storage cabinets semi-useless aside from in-camp use.
There is no gray water holding tank, which, for me, would probably be a deal breaker. Another personal deal breaker would be the 12-volt fridge but no solar on the rig.
