This popup camper sports a unique flared design that gives the interior additional space. Depending on if you get the mid- or full-sized truck version, you will get a queen- or a king-sized bed. The upper space, which resides under an insulated roof liner, is surprisingly spacious.
The lower part of the truck gives you the ability to carry a whole lot of gear with the built-in grids. These can also help you lay out the interior in a way that makes sense for your needs.
This camper is highly customizable, so prices and what’s inside will depend on you. Topo Toppers offers three different upgrade packages.
What’s not to like?
This is a lightweight, low-cost, bare-bones camping solution so don’t expect anything fancy. It’s a lot more comfortable than tent camping, but no kitchen or bathroom facilities are included.
While the flared wall provides additional inside space, on the downside they reduce the camper’s aerodynamics, which could, in theory, reduce your mpg.

Thank you, Cheri! 🙂 Given the prices, I can see why there is no bathroom or kitchen. I guess adding a composting toilet would be possible and cooking would have to be outside, possibly over a fire. Seems like “real” camping, huh? I would stop short of calling it RVing because of the absent features that prevent it being “self contained.” Still, was well worth the examination and expanded my knowledge of what is available. Back in my ‘desert dog’ camping days I think I would have jumped on a ‘camper’ like this. We either slept in the back of our pickups, or in a funky 4th hand tent trailer that my buddy picked up somewhere.
