Just in time for Valentine’s Day: Readers share their small acts of love

A few weeks ago we published an article about RVers’ small acts of love and invited people to submit their own. Here are a few we received.

Romance can be found anywhere

Lu M. submitted: “This was our Romantic dinner for two (that would be us) in our RV as Snowbirds in Florida. It was wonderful. Romance can be found wherever your heart is!!! Greetings from Ontario, Canada.”

Listening is a love language

Neal D. wrote, “When DW and I were dating I often bought her stuffed animals. Once married, I realized (was told?) that she did not care much for them. So, now I resist the urge to buy when I see an especially cute one. Similarly, I’d buy her flowers early in our marriage. After doing so multiple times in a fairly short period of time (a few weeks?), she asked me to stop wasting our money. She does allow an occasional purchase but prefers it not to be often. So, I do not buy her cute stuffed animals and rarely buy her flowers to show that I listen to her and love her.”

Thank you kisses

Kelly R. told us, “I give my wife a kiss and a ‘Thank You’ after every meal. I do not and will not prepare a meal and I truly am thankful for each meal. She gets a kiss every time I leave the house, even if just to go out into the yard. She has not yet gotten tired of me saying ‘I Love You’ many times a day.”

Her fix-it superhero

Michelle T. loves her husband and wrote, “My husband is always looking out for me. He’s happy to run to the grocery store when I need a forgotten ingredient for a recipe, he tolerates my method for parking the RV and he cleans the bathrooms at home while I clean the rest of the house (because I hate cleaning bathrooms). He is also my Fix-It Superhero. I love him more than the day I married him almost 39 years ago.”

Please fill out the form below with your small acts of love, feel free to include a photo, and we’ll publish some of them in the week(s) to come. I guarantee just thinking about it will fill your heart.

Thank you for sharing these, Nanci! Kelly R is very sweet. So, too, Mr. Fix-it Superhero and Lu M!

Not to mention that Neal D. is very smart in that he listens to his wife, eh? Have a great day, Neal. 😀 –Diane
