Tony and Tina, of the YouTube channel TNT RVing, lead you on a tour of the 2026 Rockwood Ultra Lite 302RDT. The half-ton-towable trailer without slideouts keeps things simple and easy to tow. In this 13-minute video they point out features on the exterior and interior of the RV that make this particular floorplan a logical choice for couples and small families.
This is not a critical review of the RV, just a walk-through without much comment about what Tony and Tina like or dislike about the trailer.
Below, we have summed up what they discuss in the video. If you have the time, skip down to the video itself at the bottom of this article.

Awning setup
A large awning with a center support covers a wide area. Frameless windows and a TV mount rail add convenience.
Power and connections
There’s 120V power, cable and satellite hookups, and an LP quick disconnect for an outdoor cook setup. A gas and electric water heater pairs with a furnace that’s easy to access by removing a few screws. The 2026 exterior comes in a clay color that looks subtle but nice.
Wheels, brakes, and suspension
Dexter axle features
Red brake drums signal Dexter tow assist with anti-lock braking and integrated sway control. It monitors wheel speed and adjusts braking to keep the trailer tracking straight. Also included: never-adjust brakes, torsion suspension, and aluminum wheels.
Tires and monitoring
Goodyear Endurance tires use balance beads, so no wheel weights. A RoadTech TPMS monitors tire pressure and temperature.
- Safety in towing
- Easy maintenance
- Peace of mind
Entry door and steps
A friction hinge door stays put in light wind. MORryde StepAbove steps use gas shock assist, so they lift with one hand. The Stromberg rail pins securely when closed.
Rear and side storage

Prep for a rear camera, a 250 lb.-capacity ladder, and a fully walkable roof. Storage under the dinette is accessible from both sides with slam latches.
Bumper and side features
A 300 lb.-capacity rear receiver, 50-amp power, freshwater fill and drain, plus a large side storage door. The welded aluminum dinette base doubles as a bed platform.

Dinette area
Window and shade features
The rear dinette surrounded by windows floods the space with light. Dual day and night shades give full control. The table slides and lowers to form a bed.
Seating and storage
Across from the TV and fireplace, powered theater seats include outlets, USB ports, cup holders, and a storage console. Tall overhead cabinets and deep drawers near the entry are perfect for shoes and gear.
The kitchen
Counter and appliances
A solid surface counter spans the galley. A Magic Chef microwave sits over a large oven with a blue-to-red light indicator on the knobs, which indicates when the burners or oven are turned on. Behind the deep single-basin sink is a pop-up power tower. Below the sink are two large drawers and a sponge cubby. Above the sink area are two large and very tall cabinet spaces.
Pantry and fridge
A deep pantry and a smart trash can cabinet keep things tidy.
- Pantry depth for bulky items
- Dual-opening fridge door with a higher-set freezer below, above a smart converter
Bathroom and bedroom
With extra headroom and solid doors, the bath feels open. A Showermi$er, roomy toilet area, tall cabinets, a deep vanity, and a mirrored medicine cabinet round it out.
Thanks to the 101-inch width, a king-size bed fits well. A big front window, TV, solar controller, A/C, and an emergency exit window are in the room. Storage includes under-bed space with welded aluminum framing, multiple drawers, hanging wardrobes, deep shelves overhead, a remote inverter switch, outlets, and USB ports. There’s a sliding barn door with a travel clasp and a lot of storage everywhere.
