While this can obviously be a value to some, I have been camping in tents as a young kid in the 1940s in tents with my parents and sister, then later as an adult with my own family we camped with a VW bus camper, Apache tent trailer, gas class A motorhomes and now a 33-foot diesel pusher. We have never really needed something like Campground Views. A campground for us is just a safe place to sleep and eat but during the day we are generally away from basecamp visiting friends or family, tourist spots, museums, and other places of interest. At 92 we don’t travel across the country anymore but do camp within a few hundred miles from home.

While this service is innovative and unique, it’s similar to Google Earth in regards to it’s only as good as the day the information was recorded. The video might showcase a campground whose sites are clear and level but since become seasonally overgrown and eroded. If you’re looking for ideas, it might be helpful but don’t think what you see is what you get unless the site was reviewed within a week or so.
Don’t need another yearly subscription. It’s bad enough to have Xfinity, cell phones, gas, electric, sewer and water bills each month.
