Thanksgiving is tomorrow! Can you believe it? Where has this year gone? Boy, time sure does fly…
This year, will you be spending Thanksgiving in your RV or will you be in your sticks-and-bricks home? A friend’s or family member’s house? A hotel? Will you be somewhere different this year than you were last year?
If you’re anything like most RVers, you’ve probably had at least one Thanksgiving where the turkey barely fit in the oven, the rolls baked a little too close to the flame, or you had to get creative with counter space. But that’s half the fun, isn’t it? A little improvising, a little laughing, and a whole lot of good memories.
And if you’re traveling this week, there’s something special about waking up somewhere new on a holiday morning. Maybe you’ll sip your coffee while watching the sun rise over a desert ridge or a quiet lake. Maybe you’ll hear kids playing at the campsite next door or smell someone else’s stuffing drifting through the cold air. Mmmm…
If you’re worried about preparing a large Thanksgiving meal in your RV, don’t be! Tony Barthel wrote a wonderful story awhile ago about cooking Thanksgiving dinner in your RV. Make sure you give it a read. And…
We wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow. Eat extra for us (and we’ll do the same for you… wink).

Sticks and Bricks. No highway travel during the Thanksgiving Day Madness, never mind Black Friday.
Only if I decide to walk out to the barn during the winter Storm in NW Lower Michigan.
Celebrate in it?
NO!
Celebrate working on it?
YES!
I wish that I could be celebrating Thanksgiving in our trailer! Peace and quiet in the park at this time of year…
I’m not “in” it, but I’m cooking in it…does that count? lol…(my tiny sticks ‘n bricks house doesn’t have an oven!).
Nope, sticks n bricks. Never fit everyone in the camper. It would be like putting 20 people in a bug.
