Can’t find the awning pull loop?
Time to open your awning? Sometimes finding the awning pull loop at the end of the strap can be difficult. Get a large, colorful carabiner like those used by climbers and sailors. The “snap lock” hardware makes it easier to find the end of the strap, and you can grab it with your awning hook. Find them at most big box stores. (Or, hey. How about at Amazon.com?)

Our youngest grand kids love The Tent Mouse and the RV Mouse. It gets read every time we take them traveling!

Siena is a beautiful dog. However, being very protective of her parents and surroundings makes her a problem at a campground.
Protective doesn’t mean aggressive. We have a German Shepherd that travels with us and is probably one of the friendliest dogs you’ll ever meet, and is protective of the members of our family. There is a difference between protective and aggressive.

The dobies I’ve met have all been big loveable calm dogs. My inlaws had one and same thing.

Regarding the Quick Tip. If you can’t find the loop of the awning strap, “put a large carabiner” on it??? They are usually made of aluminum. So now you can find the awning strap, but what happens to the finish on your RV when the large metal carabiner is constantly flopping against the wall as it travels down the road??

A panda walks into a bar, nibbles a few peanuts, then pulls a pistol. He fires a shot in the air and casually walks toward the door. The bartender yells, “Hey! What was that all about!?” The panda tosses a book on the bar and says, “Page 12.” Bartender opens the book to page 12 and reads aloud.

We lived at the south end of the George Washington Parkway (which is Washington Street while it passes through Old Town) for 25+ years and regularly ate at the many restaurants there. The book on good reads called “tent mouse RV mouse” now has a sequel coming out called tent mouse and Rav mouse takes a plane ride.
