A visit to Las Vegas is fun (for most people). But it’s also weird! And, now weirdness has evolved into something that few visitors other than, perhaps, those on serious drugs, would ever imagine — the world’s only street legal shopping cart! It’s big, it’s fast… and you can ride up and down the Strip in it for as little as $59.
A fellow named Kurt Osburn is the brains behind it. Three years ago, he led Vegas visitors on tours to beautiful places like Antelope Canyon in Arizona and Bryce and Zion National Parks in Utah. He loved showing these people around, but the trips took a lot of time, especially the drive back to Las Vegas. He thought, “Why not create a fun, local tour that’s totally new for Vegas?”
So, he did what you have probably thought of a thousand times (not!), but never did! He constructed a giant shopping cart on a Chevy Suburban chassis, then installed passenger seats and called his creation Cartzilla!
According to the company’s website, “like many others, Kurt enjoyed racing shopping carts in grocery store aisles and parking lots as a kid. One day, he had a simple idea: why not mix fun cart rides with local tours?”
So, now, the really good news! You can ride on “the exciting, newest, thrill-ride attraction to make its home in the world famous Las Vegas.”
But there’s more…
“This mind-blowing, seven-person, shopping cart on steroids is an unrivaled experience!” So proclaims Cartzilla’s website, although one may argue that “unrivaled experience” is perhaps a bit (a big bit) of an exaggeration.
The website continues:

(Legendary? Hmmmmm.)
