4 easy and creative S’mores recipes

By Cheri Sicard
Sure, regular S’mores are great, but the four easy and creative S’mores recipes in the video below from Tasty Home [1.76M subscribers, 449M views!] take summer’s favorite camping treat to the next level.

Besides these four S’mores recipes, don’t be afraid to play with the S’mores theme and create your own S’mores variations. My personal favorite variation is to swap out the graham crackers for small salted pretzels.

Tasty Home’s top 4 creative S’mores recipes

#1 Chocolate peanut butter S’mores: Place a chocolate peanut butter cup, such as Reese’s, on a graham cracker, top with a roasted marshmallow and second graham cracker.

#2 Chocolate chip Nutella S’mores: Spread chocolate hazelnut spread, such as Nutella, on a small chocolate chip cookie, top with a square of Hershey’s chocolate, a roasted marshmallow, and a second chocolate chip cookie.

#3 White chocolate, waffle cookie and roasted berry S’mores: Watch the video to see how to quickly roast berries in the campfire. Take a waffle cookie, top with a square of white chocolate, then a spoon of warm roasted berries, a roasted marshmallow, then a second waffle cookie.

#4 Oreo S’mores: Open a chocolate sandwich cookie, such as Oreo, add a square of Hershey’s chocolate, a roasted marshmallow, and the cookie top.

I love all of these. Too bad I can’t (or shouldn’t) eat any of them . . .

Thank you, Cheri! 🙂 These look and sound wonderful. Unfortunately, I’d never reach the end, but DW might. I will share them with her. I tend to eat the components before any “cooking” occurs. I think these could all qualify as “good food,” and “good food” is always wasted on me. 🙁 🙂 Thanks again, have a great day, and safe travels! 🙂

Try chocolate covered Graham crackers and skip the Hershey bar. I think they are easier and taste great. We also like to use a premium dark chocolate bar if using regular Graham crackers or peanut butter cookies.
