Get rid of ants, flies, and roaches in your RV—DIY all-natural spray

By Cheri Sicard

If you need to get rid of ants, flies, or even roaches in your RV (Yuck, but they do happen, especially in the South), the short video above could help. In it, the team from Clever Hacks shares an all-natural spray you can whip up in minutes that they say will keep those annoying insects away!

How do you make this magical concoction that allegedly will help you get rid of ants, flies, and more?

Pour 1 1/4 cups water into a large skillet and add 2 tablespoons of whole cloves. Bring to a simmer. When the water changes color, turn off the heat and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of baking soda over the pan, which causes the liquid to start fizzing. When the fizzing stops and the mixture cools, pour it into a spray bottle. Add a couple of bay leaves to the bottle.

Spray around the door, windows, cabinets, or any other places where insects enter or gather. According to the video, it will make them avoid the place like the plague!

Thank you, Cheri! 🙂 Interesting concoction, but one relatively easy to make. 🙂 Have you tried it? Did it work, or just leave the smell of cloves behind? Thanks again, have a great weekend, and safe travels! 🙂
