Jayco is recalling certain 2026 Entegra Cornerstone Reserve, and 2025-2026 Cornerstone, Aspire, and Anthem motorhomes. The slide-out room can be deployed without the parking brake engaged, allowing the room to extend while the vehicle is in motion.
A slide-out room that extends unexpectedly increases the risk of a crash and injuries. The recall was issued October 30, 2025.
According to the slide-out manufacturer, Klauber Machine & Gear Co., the affected slide-out motors were made with the incorrect non-heat treated mild steel keys; they should have been manufactured with heat treated alloy steel keys.
Owners may notice the problem if the slide room slips during normal operation.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the slide-out motors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 19, 2025. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9903642.

Klauber’s electric motors are used in several brands. I would expect this recall might widen.
Looks like the Quality Control guys at Jayco were “out to lunch” all day. Recalls from “stem to stern” in multiple components.
