Greetings, fellow RVers! This issue of the Great RV Accessories Newsletter features some of my favorite RV cookware, both inside and outside the RV, and that is cast iron! Cast iron for RVers
Whether at home or in my RV, I could not live without my cast iron skillet, but especially in the RV. I even bake things like cookies or biscuits in it as it is such a good heat conductor. It helps prevent food from burning on the bottom, which is a typical RV oven problem. Cast iron can also cook on the stovetop, on a grill, or even be placed in the campfire.
Why cast iron cookware for RVers?
Although this type of cookware is heavier than lightweight nonstick pots and pans, well-seasoned cast iron cookware is more practical as it can be used for stove-top cooking, oven baking, and broiling. You can even set it over an open campfire for cowboy cookouts. Cast iron also doesn’t need much water to clean, which makes it great for boondocking adventures. - KIWEN magnetic sunglasses holder for vehicle sun visor: This glasses holder clips to your car’s or RV’s visor so they’re always easily accessible to you. The glasses clip is closed with a magnet, holding it strong enough so that it won’t ever fall out, but is still easy enough to open with one hand. If you find yourself losing your glasses often, or have a hard time keeping them organized, this is for you. We love this!
