We love using our RV outdoor shower—especially for those times when our grandchildren come camping with us. It’s a quick and easy way to remove sand, dirt, and debris and keep it out of our RV’s interior. The only draw back to some of these great rugs is that they’re rubber-backed and most laundromats will not allow them in their washers and dryers.
Before you purchase any shower head check the specs for the water pressure needed. We bought one that was highly tecommended then found out that it needed pressure above 40 psi to work.
The best upgrade I added to our Class A Diesel Pusher is “instant on” hot water in the shower. The benefits are not stepping into cold water or wasting a couple of gallons of cold water (critical when boondocking) before the hot water reaches the shower. In short this required adding a tiny 12V hot water circulation pump, check valve to bypass the pump during high flow conditions. Lastly a wireless link from the ceiling light in the shower to enable the pump for 2 minutes each time the light is turned on.
