Right site, wrong campground? Make sure to look at the details before booking a campsite

Thanks to detailed descriptions of campsites, often with video, we see every detail of a campsite before booking it. But do we really have the big picture?
The campground says it’s pet-friendly, but do you know the rest of the story? The RV resort lists Wi-Fi, but is it free, high-speed and at every campsite? The RV park has amenities galore, but did you notice that there is a resort fee to cover use of those amenities?
Here are seven things that I suggest taking a more careful look at at the campground and beyond.

If you are thinking about a fiberglass trailer, the video below from Escape Trailer is a good one to watch. In it, they compare and contrast two popular Escape fiberglass trailers, the E21C and the E21NE.
Both of these fiberglass trailers are 21 feet in length, although they have slightly different features and floor plans.

Water pump wacky? Possible causes
If your water pump runs a few strokes and then stops, only to repeat the sequence a few minutes later, you probably have a dripping faucet or a leak. In addition to all faucets, check the pressure fitting for a drip and the water heater drain plug for leaks. If no leaks are found, you may have a malfunctioning pump pressure cutoff switch. Or, there may be air in a line somewhere, e.g., the outside shower or toilet line. Bleed all the lines and fixtures, including any under-sink filter assembly. Thanks, DW/ND, for the last suggestion.

Mock Pizza Casserole

This is one good casserole and would be perfect to take to a potluck. It’s kind of like having a pizza, but easier to keep warm. I like ground beef, sweet Italian sausage and pepperoni on my pizza so I used all three. Add whatever meats and seasonings to your liking. This dish was really easy to prepare and so tasty! As people age, their sense of taste often diminishes, but interestingly, their appreciation for complex flavors tends to increase. This is why many older adults may start to enjoy foods and beverages like dark chocolate, strong cheeses, or fine wines that they might not have liked when they were younger. The decrease in taste sensitivity makes them more open to these bold flavors!

As a newbie camper, my first time out I was at the campground I was supposed to be at, but I accidentally made my reservation at their sister campground. Luckily, they were able to sort it out. Ugh!
Re the “mystery product,” I’m amused that so many of these Camco (and others) products that feature cute trailers have the door on the wrong, street side (for the US). Perhaps the designers in China use British-styled campers as their guide. Once you start noticing it, you see it frequently. Seems odd for products marketed to US consumers.
I’ll have to say, I did an actual LOL when I read the “Leave hear with a laugh”.
I absolutely loved all the comments following the poll. Our RV crowd at RVTravel has had some interesting lives. A very fun read.
