2026 No Boundaries NB19.3 travel trailer vs. Ember: Which is better?
By Cheri Sicard
Looking at a new RV can be dangerous for the wallet. For Joe from RVingWithJoe, a quick stop at Fraserway RV in Abbotsford, British Columbia, to see a 4×4 motorhome turned into a serious rethink about his current Ember travel trailer. The 2026 No Boundaries (NOBO) NB19.3 checked so many boxes that Joe had to ask himself whether he would still buy an Ember today or move to a NOBO. Here’s what he thinks.

Arizona tornado picks up RV with man inside, throws and flips it
By Cheri Sicard
10 to 20 seconds can change your life, as proved in the video at the end of this post from Fox 10 News in Arizona. It’s a cautionary tale to RVers who find themselves in high winds, even when not driving. A quiet stretch of desert west of Wickenburg, AZ, turned frightening when a weak (yes, weak!) tornado touched down and flipped an RV with a man still inside.

The tale of a one-of-a-kind trailer boat
Paul Lacitinola shares an interesting story (with several pictures) about this unique Masonite-sided trailer boat, first registered in 1948. It originally came complete with oars, an era-appropriate boat motor, a propane tank, stove, and icebox. It was recently lovingly restored by Chuck and Toni Miltenberger. Read about it here.

Toss and Chop food prep and salad scissors make chopping a breeze
Cheri Sicard writes, “This has long been my favorite and one of my most-used RV kitchen gadgets. These ingenious double-bladed kitchen scissors make it easy to cut, dice, or mince almost anything, right in the bowl. The Toss and Chop takes up hardly any room, is easy to clean, and needs no electrical power.” Learn more about this handy RV food prep gadget here.

Quick tip
Keep your [tire] balance
“Balance your tires. Uneven wear, once it is severe, can’t be stopped by balancing. Replace worn tires before starting a long trip. You don’t need the aggravation of replacing one on the road.” —From Trailers & Fifth Wheels Made Easy

Trivia
The Mariana Trench in the western Pacific is the deepest place on Earth, plunging nearly 36,000 feet (about 11,000 meters) into the ocean. If you put Mount Everest at the bottom of the trench, its peak would still be more than 1.2 miles (more than 6,000 feet) below the ocean surface. The pressure down there is more than 1,000 times what you feel at sea level—and yet tiny microbes still thrive in the cold, dark depths.

“Lucky (Pittie/Rottweiler, 9 months) was dumped with mother and six littermates on a cold November night next to railroad tracks. Found and rescued by a homeless outreach team. We fostered the mother and pups until they were ready for adoption. Lucky stayed with us. Lucky us.” —Bill Brogan

Please, no Evites. There are many electronic greeting card sites. You do the design then supply the website with the email addresses for the recipients.
Screech! Full brakes. Without asking you gave MY email address to a commercial website?
While I cannot say for certainty what Evite does, many of these sites then using those email addresses for unwanted marketing. No thanks. Leave me off your list please.
I maintain a personal email address strictly for personal communication. I use an alternate email address for any commercial sites. My friends can reach me without clutter. I can quickly delete all the unwanted crap from the other inbox at my leisure.
