Simple trick makes storing pot and pan lids easy; keeps them safe during travel
By Dave Helgeson
As we all know, the contents of an RV go through a major earthquake every time you head down the road. Keeping contents organized and in place is a constant battle, especially in the kitchen. Many items like pots and pans can be nested together, but what about the lids?
The various sizes, diameters and knobs of the lids prevent them from nesting together, allowing them to slide around in your cabinets, becoming quickly disorganized with each bump in the road and moving to and fro each time you brake and accelerate at a traffic signal. What is an RVer to do? Well, check this out. It’s genius!

All GFCI outlets work; why did 4 on other side quit working?
By Dave Solberg
Dear Dave,
The four 110v plugs on the side that is not hooked to the GFCI outlet quit working—all at the same time. I have checked all breakers and fuses in the panel and all is good. All lights work and everything on the GFCI side work with no issues. I made sure all was good at the RV park pedestal and even changed my 50-amp cord. Need help. What next? —Ed, 2019 Keystone Alpine 3400RS Read Dave’s answer.

See RV crash test into wall at 40 mph. It’s scary!
In the United States, we don’t crash test RVs to determine their safety, or to learn how they can be improved. One reason is that RV manufacturers do not want to show consumers how badly their products fare in a serious accident. It also costs a lot of money. In this video from the Swedish Transport Administration, you’ll see what happens when a small Class A motorhome slams head-on into a wall. It is very scary!

Poor dog who caught his collar in the heater grate. I never, never leave a collar on my dog inside, whether at home or in the RV. He only gets it on to go for walks when we need a leash on him.
I chew on the side of my mouth that has the teeth.
Kyah is beautiful, I hope you enjoy many adventures!
Imagine if ONE RV manufacture made an RV that you might expect to live thru a collision? Could you afford to buy one? Would you buy any other one that failed? Could you afford to insure one that failed? Or do you just say, “That can’t happen to me?”
Kyah is absolutely beautiful, sweet and precious. Thank you for sharing so much.!🥰🐶
My Dalmatians are naked. The only time they have collars on is when we walk them.
I had one Dal years ago jump off the recliner and got his collar caught on the drawer knobs in our LondonAire and thank god we were in the RV..
Right handed and chew on my left side…
Thank you, Emily and Diane! Boy, that is one ugly mystery product. Well, that is another strike against heating registers in the floor, huh? Pretty sheltie! I am right handed. I chew on either side, depending on latest or needed dental work. I tended to chew more on leftside because of a troublesome crown on the right side. Have a great weekend and safe travels!
