There are never enough space-saving ideas for RV organization. In the video below, Rhonda, with Over the Hill Adventures, uses her Grand Design Imagine 2500RL as a model to demonstrate some of her favorite ways to maximize space in an RV.
#1. Under-the-counter paper towel holder: This simple mod saves lots of counter space.
#2 Spice rack: Rhonda uses a small wire holder that comes in a pack of four. She says she does not need all four. I guess she does not cook much, because I would need all four and then some!
#3 Shower dispenser: A three-chamber dispenser neatly organizes soap, shampoo, and conditioner and keeps them off the floor and off the shelf.
# 4 Hanging storage bags: I know I would be lost without these; they’re perfect for holding all kinds of items.
#5 Expandable utensil tray: These trays keep clutter out of drawers and expand to fit nearly any size.
#6 Collapsible dish rack: This awesome accessory organizes drying dishes and collapses down flat when not in use.
#7 Pasta storage containers: Keep odd-shaped pasta like spaghetti or lasagna neat and spill-proof in containers like these.

Being in a Class A, most of the storage tips don’t work due to lack of room. However, even though the bed has no storage underneath, we’ve managed to hang our shoes using large u hooks from the dollar store. The bed lifts up – and we place the hooks on the edge. Works for 6 pairs of shoes.
Clever!
We keep a decorative wire vertical pie rack on our dining table to hold the plates. When time to move, the rack is easy to lift and place all the plates in a protected spot – in our case on the carpeted floor under a dining chair with a plastic grocery bag over the top. We have melamine plates, not stoneware or heaven forbid, china.
Thank you, Cheri! We use expandable utensil trays, have a three-chamber shower-wall dispenser, and have added command hooks at strategic spots to hold jackets. Have a great day and safe travels! 🙂
