Ever seen a house on three wheels? The video below from Velvet Motors showcases Kevin Cyr’s tricycle camper, one of the coolest and most unique mobile homes you’ll ever see.
Kevin’s camper is art, engineering, and a love for adventure all rolled into one. It might look like a mix between an old-fashioned rickshaw and a small camper at first. But every part of this 3-wheel camper was carefully planned to make the most of the space and be as useful as possible.
Kevin put a lot of thought into how this camper works. Everything has a purpose, making it a highly functional little home.
Not your typical gas-guzzling RV, this tricycle camper is powered by your own two legs, so it’s an eco-friendly way to travel. It’s small enough to pedal through city streets. Yet, it’s strong enough to keep you safe from the weather.
Inside, it’s surprisingly cozy, with a bed, storage, and other little things that make living on the go comfortable.

AI? The audio talks about this like it’s a single camper, but the pictures don’t match. The shape of the camper and the inside design changes. And the cyclist would be hunched underneath the ‘cab over’ of the first camper shown.
You’ve almost outdone yourself here, Cheri. I was an avid bicyclist back in the 70’s. In as good a shape as I was back then, I wouldn’t touch one of these collections of craziness! The first hint of breeze or uphill and you’re dead in the water. I agree with Bryan below about the first ‘camper’.
I’ve seen several YouTube videos similar to this. It’s an obvious Ai creation. There is no way you could put all that interior in the short length of that unit. And as a previous commenter said there is no way to pedal without being hunched over. There are some legitimate bicycle campers available but this isn’t one of them.
I counted 4n separate camper/bike configurations, 3 didn’t have the overbed, and 2 had 4 wheels 2 for the camper and 2 for the bike. As a camper, it makes great art.
Thank you for calling attention to the video of such an unconventional RV, Cheri! Apparently, the artist/peddler/RVer enjoys painting, given the various color combinations his trike RV seemed to have over the course of the video. Very little discussion (as in none) of the amenities, but numerous assertions that it has everything that he needs. Wet bath? Composting toilet? Vent fans and screened windows rather than air conditioning? Heat needed, available? Seemed more of an effort to indoctrinate than inform. Would like to have seen it in use.
