You’re using your RV power awning wrong!
By Cheri Sicard
Josh the RV Nerd, well known for his large audience on YouTube, says that if you have an RV built after 2011, chances are good you have a power awning. And chances are even better that you are not using it correctly.
Josh says not a lot of people know this and that even RV dealers don’t know it, but in [this video], he lets us in on a secret. He explains that he has noticed many used RVs coming into his lot with the auto rain dump gas struts on power awnings prematurely worn out. He came to realize this was because people are not taught how to use their power awnings properly.

Quick Tip
Help your RV fridge cool down quicker
Assist your fridge with ice bottles. You can fill it with ice water bottles (three or four in the freezer and in the fridge section) to cool it down. A bottle of frozen water lasts about three times as long as any frozen blue pack, and when it does thaw you have drinking water.

Recipe of the Day
Grilled Pork Tenderloin With Blueberry Sauce
by Joan Link from Bristol, TN
We are in love with this delicious grilled pork tenderloin. Since it’s wrapped in bacon, its smoky flavor infuses into the juicy and tender pork. Fresh blueberries and cherry tomatoes add pops of sweet flavor and balance out the tangy vinegar in the blueberry sauce. This is a great summer grilling recipe if you’re looking for a fancier meal.

Today’s thought was in the newsletter one year ago. It appeared a couple of weeks after my wife of 31 years passed away from complications from COVID and pneumonia. It was a strong impetus to reflect on the great life we had, yet encouraged me to move on.
So True Jerome.
Hope you’re managing your grief, and that you find peace with your new normal.
Life is Good!
I’m glad Today’s thought was comforting to you last year and probably each day since your wife passed. My sincere condolences Jerome.
Thank you, Chuck (Emily?), Diane, and Kim! 🙂 Have a wonderful day and safe travels! 🙂
In our area the number one and two dogs in our shelters are the Pit Bull followed by Chihuahua… Please spay & neuter
Does that include humans?
I have some customers in that category as their kids are worse than they are. Needless to say they aren’t customers for long.
Thank you today for wonderful helpful articles
Thank you for your kind words, James. We appreciate them, and we appreciate YOU! Have a good evening/night. 😀 –Diane at RVtravel.com
