How to clean dark streaks off your RV

You love your RV, but what are those terrible dark streaks? More importantly, how can you remove them? If you discover dark streaks on your RV, these tips are for you!
Many RVers are bewildered. Just what causes those dark streaks, anyway? One potential cause comes from natural elements. When it rains, dirt, dust, mold, and pollutants from your RV’s roof wash down onto the side panels, often leaving behind a nasty, dark streak. If left unattended for a while, the streak becomes very difficult to remove.

Forest River Wildwood 27RK. Nice changes

Today’s RV review is of the 2025 Forest River Wildwood 27RK travel trailer. While I will typically put a link to the RV here, I don’t want to do that as the website reflects the 2024 model of this rig. To be very clear, the 2025 model is an absolutely different animal. While the layout isn’t tremendously different, the way it “feels” inside couldn’t be more so.
Oh, there are a few material differences, as well, including ones that, I believe, will make a big difference in how useful this trailer is.

RV parking restrictions in front of your house?
Some that live in Home Owner Association areas, or in towns with parking restrictions, feel they’ve hit a brick wall when they need to do a repair or maintenance job on their RV. If you’re limited to a 24-hour restriction, it’ll really cramp your style. One RVer says when he has a longer-than-a-day job to do, he simply approaches his neighbors in advance, spells out the problem he’s having, and gives an estimate as to how long he’ll need to get the job done, promising to “vamoose” as soon as possible. Says it’s worked every time—no complaints, no problems.

Homemade Ranch Dressing

You absolutely won’t believe how easy it is to make a creamy ranch dressing at home. Our version adds lemon juice, hot sauce, and fresh parsley to brighten the flavors. This recipe is adaptable for different eating lifestyles. For Paleo, use a compliant mayo and swap the sour cream for full-fat canned coconut milk. To make this Keto-friendly, use almond milk or a slightly watered-down heavy cream to thin the dressing. Whether drizzled on a salad or served in a bowl alongside fresh veggies or Buffalo wings, this super easy homemade ranch dressing is going to become a staple in your kitchen.

Texans sure don’t like the fact that Alaska is larger than their beloved state. Having worked in Alaska for years I have heard it all about the argument over Texas vs. Alaska.
As the old story goes, the Texan was bragging to the Alaskan about the size of Texas. The Alaskan replied: “Be careful or Alaska will split into two states and then Texas will be the third largest state!” 😝

Why is it that when I go into an article on your web site and when finished and go back to the the site it takes me to the top of the page and not back to the original article. I then have to scroll down to continue to read the rest of the site. This happens every time. It makes very annoying to enjoy reading your page. This only happens with your site, no others. I know back a couple months ago this was not happening. What’s changed?

I think it depends on the speed of your provider of the internet, as it used to do it to me also, but once on higher speed it takes me right back to where I left off, you may have to wait a few more seconds and it may take you to where you were previously, hopefully…
Thanks Larry, this is a thing indeed, but this time it’s something wrong with the way we load a page when the back button is used and Safari on iOS…
Hi Skip,
I can confirm this issue on both iPad and iPhone, so all iOS based products. It seems to be working OK in Safari on the desktop and Firefox as well.
When hitting the back button there are a couple of things that your browser is supposed to get from our site that make it take you back to where you left off. It looks like that part is working but then “something” is causing a screen refresh which takes back to the top of the page. That something could be an ad, or it could be one of our other tools we use to measure performance etc. Not quite a needle in a haystack, but close.
Anyway: it’s broken, we’re looking into it but we don’t have any estimate of a repair date.

Why are there so many pop up ads in this newsletter. I counted over 20 today alone. These interrupts causing the page to not load completely or an excessive amount of wait time is encountered. My Apple device is configured properly and this only happens on this site.
