I was pleasantly surprised by how well this fan works. The fan does exactly what I wanted it to, namely, keeping my head and neck cool while trying to sleep. There is so much to like about this little camping fan, I will save time and list it all in this post. (Read the rave reviews from RVtravel.com readers under that post.)

RV vent cover keeps hot air out!
By Cheri Sicard
This simple RV accessory, an insulating RV vent cover, is one of my most-used RV accessories, both in cold and hot weather. When the temperatures dip, it blocks cold air from entering your RV and helps keep warm air in. I expected this function, and it did not disappoint. However, I was surprised at how effective it is in the heat of summer when the sun’s full force is beating down on my RV. As the vent is the thinnest barrier in my RV’s roof, the insulating RV vent cover blocks some of that heat. It fits standard 14”X14” RV vents. Learn more here.

If you have a compact trailer with a smaller than standard dinette, check out the baby section for fitted ‘pack and play’ sheets. We found a solid color (but maybe you like unicorns and rainbows?) quilted sheet that is a perfect fit for our dinette. The seat tops are covered and the seat backs use a 360 wrap. Far more durable than the microfiber covers. And as an added bonus, the cover makes the foam cushions just a tiny bit larger so they stay put while driving. And it is a sheet right? Perfect for transforming the dinette into a kid’s bed.
Thank you for collecting these products and columns, Cheri! Have a great day and safe travels!
