In regard to toll roads in NY? Here is a zinger for those going thru PA. We did a drive thru in PA with one stop over to Williamsburg. We entered into PA via toll road and got off and on at the Pittsburgh exit and off at Breezewood on Day1 and 2. Then we came back from Williamsburg. Got on at Breezewood and off near Pittsburgh. Our total bill? $75 bucks. That was a shock because that is expected if we used the trailer thru there. We did find Ohio to be the cheapest and if you get off at 218 Ohio toll road and use the freeway to Pittsburgh much cheaper. Its free. Won’t be using PA toll roads any time soon after this one. Ohio hasn’t changed much and will use that to drive to NC or Pittsburgh if we do Williamsburg again. The sign on the PA toll road says 12 but it looks like they are desparate for money. So be forewarned if you use their toll roads. It is not what they mean.

Regarding brain teaser: different rates of acceleration would allow them to go straight or make any combination of turns. The teaser says they only accelerate at the same time.

Re: Gas Price Increase – Sorry – the recent rise in fuel prices had nothing to do with cold weather, as prices started shooting up weeks before.

Open up the Gas Buddy Fuel Price chart link below. Note that prices started moving up right after the Nov election because of prior Biden promises to stop the US from using petroleum fuels. Then, virtually the same day as the January inauguration they started shooting up even more strongly, especially when he started writing EOs to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline and rescind oil & gas drilling leases on Federal lands. Why this administration is determined to punish it’s citizens through actions like this makes no sense to me.

Addition to brain teaser. 2 wrongs don’t make a right, but 3 right hand turns do

Maybe a correction in the spelling of Morro Bay, not Morrow Bay as it’s spelled in the story, would help in locating the town.. Would be a great place to park an RV though.

Small nit to pick on the Elvis story. The Pantera may’ve had a DeTomaso body but it was a Mercury product. I was at Ford when they bought a DeTomaso Mangusta & installed a 351C engine. It became a pool car for Body Engineering, but the key was never there when I needed a vehicle!

Not so sure the news that Camping World is opening a dealership in Hamburg Pa at the former Boat and RV dealership is correct. Just about 1 week ago Gander Mountain opened a dealership at the former Boat and RV location in Hamburg. Is Gander Mountain and Camping world owned by the same company?

I was speaking to a rep over the phone about a similar situation in Ohio. “So are you Camping World or Gander Mountain?” I asked. He told me Camping World had bought Gander Mountain.

Gander Mountain went bankrupt and Camping world bought them out and changed the name to Gander Outdoors. They reopened the former Gander Mountain stores. Than after a few years they closed their Gander Outdoor stores that didn’t sell RV’s. Their employees were devastated losing their jobs. One store they closed was in Scranton, Pa. Gander Outdoors in Hamburg is not far from Cabela’s and Tom Schaeffer’s RV Superstore.

IMHO gas prices are going up because the new administration has cancelled the pipeline new drilling contracts and fracking. We will now be more dependent upon foreign oil.

Wrong. …and fracking mostly produces natural gas (and pollution), and that gas is sold elsewhere. (Foreign gvmts)

Correct, we don’t need to keep a contract for people to make widgets that are no use to us. That oil is not for us. It takes up refining assets that could be used for oil for us.

It was canceled because Warren Buffett wanted it cancelled. Keeps his trains busy.

You may want to do some research on gas supply, and global oil trade before you make such a statement. There are people who have spent their lives studying such things. We all need to start using logic and facts, and stop believing things that we heard on the internet, or just believe.
