NOTE: We did not finish our article about the couple who got fined for shooting videos for their YouTube channel in a National Park. We’ll have it next week.
Cant wait to see the details of this one!

FYI:
Salt Water License-Free Fishing day in Florida is November 28, 2020!
All regulations apply as far as bag and size limits and season restrictions. Florida has four fresh water and four salt water license free days each year.
Just thought you might know if f you are headed that way. Many bait shops and some sporting gear stores have current regulations or you can get them from

When I last visited Colorado the state police told us there was no rest stop over nite stays due to the homeless problem they had. But they told us we could park outside of the police station if we had no other option. We did not take them up on that offer. Even though it was tempting.

Is your RV Safe in RV Storage lots? Great article, and with mentioning an alarm system would help if you have 110/120vac all the time. Well, the Simplisafe system does not use much energy and with a 500W solar system works great (~450ma unit and 200ma each camera). My system has 2K puresign wave inverter (4) 100ah AGM batteries & Epever 40A controller. I have this in my RV, it functions 24/7 without much of a problem. I say “much” as I live in Phoenix Metro Area and summer 115F and above the equipment shuts down to protect the charging circuits. My remedy was a portable 12 dc @ (3 amps) cooler to keep the cellphone hotspot and the simplisafe tower in. The cooler kept devices 30 degrees cooler than ambient which allowed the devices to still function, full 1040P video feeds from the cameras as well. The sensors detectors are battery operated and you have to secure them with stronger adhesive as summer temps melt um and they fall off the walls/ceilings.

Re: brain teaser

If the house has no power, how can someone be exposed to high voltage electricity?

I don’t use/need RV Storage lots but hearing stories of theft and damage over the years at Storage facilities it seems it’s almost best to remove high $$ items or whatever you care to that won’t be covered under insurance and just leave door unlocked. More times than not it seems the damage to the Entry Door and Exterior wall is way more than cost of what was stolen.

“News Brief”
That should be Dare county, NC, not FL.

Thanks, Tim. It’s been corrected. (That’s what can happen when Chuck adds something after I’ve proofed the newsletter. Just sayin’. 🙄 ) —Diane at RVtravel.com

Glendale Arizona. My experience with the Glendale police department is that they are corrupt. They have a female officer that falsified ticket. Took them to our judge threw it out. The court in Glendale is not veterans friendly as to their last decision on a handicap veteran. I left Glendale years ago due to their corrupt activities
